Christmas in Syracuse doesn't seem to be the 
   same anymore
   I feel like a part of me is missing.
   It feels like a whole team just got taken away from our city
   A team that people would love so much
   no matter how many times we lost

   Nowadays it just seems like all
   they care is about the statistics
   Ever since the new team made the 
   Calder Cup Finals last year
   Win that game or else we'll 
   all be disappointed
   It seems like we don't even care
   about the players as people
   Like we used to

   They try their best
   to make us proud
   But ever since last June
   All they care about is 
   making sure we're the
   best in the league

   What happened to being 
   thankful that we even had 
   a team in Syracuse?
   A team with one of the
   worst records in the league
   One of the most lovable teams
   of the Syracuse hockey era
  
   Only because they
   had the biggest hearts.
